Perfect teeth in 94

Im still impressed with just about everything Unrest did in the good ol 90 indi rock years. Indi still produces plenty of great things, proving im not getting old yet. Unrest was one of the true indi pioneers for the singers own label teen beat records. this song still makes me feel good.

testimonials

John Cattermole's craftsmanship is truly one of a kind. Basically, he made me a pair of cuff-links out of a turquoise stone and with an unmatched vision. The piece was very close to my heart - i had a turquoise stone that had belonged to my grandfather and i wanted to somehow make them into cuff-links for my brother as a gift for his wedding. John understood what the project meant and he took me through every step of the process; from the cutting of the rock to a workable stone to the design of the metal, and what i got was a one-of-a-kind piece of art that can never ever be duplicated. The beauty of the final product broke my heart with joy. Now i have a slew of new memories associated with that turquoise stone and my brother has a family heirloom that he can pass on to his children. And he did it all without breaking the budget i had to work with. Being able to give that gift to my brother made that Christmas the best one i've ever had.

John Cattermole created a very personal gift for my wife that will be treasured for a lifetime. She wears her pendent all the time. His skills and design work are exceptional and very original. He is very reliable and reasonably priced. I will definitely use him again and would recommend him to all my friends and family without hesitation. Trust his work.

John Cattermole helped us create personalized, one-of-a-kind wedding rings that are as unique the love and commitment that they have been made to symbolize. He used his knowledge of jewelry craftsmanship and creative talents to morph the image we had in mind into a classy, durable ring that will last a lifetime!"

John and I have worked together on a few jewelry projects and I can’t praise his work enough. I literally drew my wife’s engagement ring on a napkin, and John made it a reality. He’s easy to work with and has always fulfilled all of my visions (and my deadlines). Since working with John Cattermole, I have not set foot in a retail jewelry store and will never again.

Make your Idea a Reality

I made this unique pendent for a fellow member of the Newcastle County Chamber of Commerce based on a simple drawing. As you can see , he now has a special and significant piece of jewelry to present to his wife, designed by him. Its hard to put a value on something like that. What is your idea?

If there is a piece of jewelry you can think of but don't see, I can make it for you. Maybe its a new take on something, or you want to add some symbolism to make it special. I can add text and designs. Get creative.

Kids and Jewelry design

A customer of mine lost her ring. I was scrambeling to help figure out what to do, as the wedding was in 2 days! I got a call from my wife and told her about it, she told my daughter Regan. Regan wanted to help. She drew a pricure of what she thought the ring might look like. now that was cute. a few hours later the ring was marakiusly found! Horay.

I returned home that night, and asked Regan for the drawing, and after some questions we sat in front of the computer together and biult this model from her idea of the design. Regan wanted everything to be pink
I think its lovely and i hope you do to.

I think is so important to really look at what kids create and consider what it really could be. There perspectives is still raw and unspoiled. It also important to consider how what we do effects our kids. You get a great chance to train a designer for the future. As an artiest, this may be the biggest impact you have on the world, who knows?

Video Jeweler

Here is the video i made explaining the Cad porcess.  It took about 3 day for filming here and there and 1 or 2 afternoons of editing.  I added Slowdive on top because it was lying aroung and Slowdive  is Great.  Great example of how slowdive rocks http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0LIO138Z-A&feature=related  .  So i think this video of mine showes the process prity well.  I would like to know if people are getting it.

My friend Ryan and  I Are working on a new one that is strictly sales oriented.  Some production and design footage will be worked in as well.

Web Ex

I'm considering adding Webex to my services as a custom jewelry designer.   And integrate it into the web page. You can log on to a web site and see my computer screen.   I can take you through a model, or presentation.  I can even kind of "sketch" in 3D as i like to call it.  I think this can be a really great way to bring in new customers.

Trying to find leads online and closing them is a new thing for me.  I am trying to come up with things that show how I'm not just am average jewelry put-to-gather house.  I listen to what my customer wants and I work to make it real for them.
