John Cattermole's craftsmanship is truly one of a kind. Basically, he made me a pair of cuff-links out of a turquoise stone and with an unmatched vision. The piece was very close to my heart - i had a turquoise stone that had belonged to my grandfather and i wanted to somehow make them into cuff-links for my brother as a gift for his wedding. John understood what the project meant and he took me through every step of the process; from the cutting of the rock to a workable stone to the design of the metal, and what i got was a one-of-a-kind piece of art that can never ever be duplicated. The beauty of the final product broke my heart with joy. Now i have a slew of new memories associated with that turquoise stone and my brother has a family heirloom that he can pass on to his children.
